Really fantastic experience. Judy at the passport office is so wonderful and helped us out two separate visits within a week of each other. She was direct and straight shooting but not rude whatsoever. She also took a great picture for my mom’s first American passport. On top of our top-notch experience with staff, there was no line both times and any issues with paperwork were handled on the spot. The county clerk is a governmental office that somehow can leave you happier than when you walked in. Shocking in today’s world, but nonetheless greatly appreciated.

It might feel a bit unusual to leave a review for a county office, but the amazing women in that office truly deserve recognition. Over the past couple of years, whenever I’ve needed assistance, Angela, Emily, and Judy have consistently gone above and beyond to help. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and courteous. Thank you, ladies, for being genuinely good people!

Went to have passport applications processed. The whole process went smoothly and efficiently, and the staff was so helpful and pleasant. My husband couldn’t believe “how painless” it was. A great way to start the day—lovely people!

My wife and I went to just get our new passport photos taken and the office (and Judy whom took care of us) could not have been more helpful. As I said, we were just getting new photos but before we left I had a new "updated" Sussex County Veteran ID card, all the paperwork needed to submit our passport renewal, along with a mailer, and told to come back, if we wanted, and they would go over the paperwork to make sure it's correct. Most of the time you go to many government offices and it's like pulling teeth to get help or answers to questions, but not the Sussex County Clerks office, the staff could not be more attentive and eager to help. Thank you all, and thank you Jeff Parrot for having such a great staff.
