The vital stats and passport office are the best public service offices in the USA. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful making the experience delightful. Every other government office should use this office as the benchmark to run a public office.

Went to get a copy of my birth certificate. I expected to wait in a long line, be there for several hours and wait for weeks for my birth certificate to arrive in the mail. I could not have been more wrong. Parking was a breeze, the security guard was courteous and told me exactly where to go. The personal in the vital statistics office were friendly and courteous. The entire visit took about fifteen minutes, and I walked out with a copy of my birth certificate. Needless to say, I was more than pleasantly surprised!

Went on a Tuesday, it was calm and quick. The person who attended me asked what I needed my item for, to help me better. She really did. Informed. Explained and attended with professionalism. Here are all the angles to the location. *The entrance is really on Burnett street. The main cross street is Weatherford. *FYI. The entrance on Taylor street looks like it's being remodeled or something so if you don't want to walk all around the building don't park on Taylor St. Here are plenty of pictures. Don't make my mistake. I did go all around the building.
