Very impressed with how quickly I was able to get a replacement dog license tag made by such friendly, helpful, and polite staff! I was in and out in 5 minutes with a new tag in hand that I hope lasts until next spring! FYI: It wasn't the city's fault we lost our original tag. I was just thankful it was the only tag lost and not the rabies or Home Again tag. The Taunton city dog license tag happens to be the easiest, cheapest, and quickest to get a replacement tag for. As a dog owner and resident of Taunton, it was my responsibility to replace it for a small fee which I was able to easily pay in the office at the time I got the replacement tag. Thank you to the Taunton City Clerk's office staff for manually imprinting the number to make our replacement tag! Parking in the rear of city hall allowed for me to make an easy entrance through the rear of the building where I was met by a wonderfully helpful woman who greeted me and was able to point me in the right direction—around the corner to right where I quickly found the Clerk's Office. The building is very clean, well lit, and no bad odors. Elevator and stairs are available depending which office you need with directories and signs clearly posted throughout the building, but not needed to get to the City Clerk's office when entering through the back entrance of City Hall. There was another person getting a birth certificate who had to show their driver's license while I was waiting on my replacement tag who was also helped promptly by another member of the friendly and helpful Taunton City Clerk's office staff.
