Review of Judge Joiner: In a recent courtroom encounter, I was dismayed by the performance of Judge Joiner. From the onset, it was evident that impartiality was a foreign concept to her. Upon entering the courtroom, her demeanor towards the complainants was unnervingly biased, exchanging knowing glances and nods with the opposing party. This overt display of favoritism cast a shadow over the entire proceedings. Despite my earnest attempts to present vital information and seek a continuance for legal representation, Judge Joiner callously dismissed my pleas. Her refusal to allow submission of crucial evidence and denial of a continuance, especially in the absence of legal counsel, reeked of injustice and disregard for due process. Furthermore, when presented with tangible proof of rent payment, Judge Shawna Joiner callously ignored it, arbitrarily granting a mere five days to vacate premises. Such flagrant disregard for evidence and basic fairness only serves to erode trust in the judicial system. In light of these concerning actions, it is imperative that the authorities take immediate action. Judge Joiners conduct falls far short of the standards expected in a court of law, and her continued presence on the bench undermines the integrity of the entire legal system. A thorough investigation and subsequent corrective measures are warranted to ensure that justice is served and the rights of all individuals are protected.I will be pursuing action.

I live in Taylor County and have gone into to courthouse numerous times. COMPLAINT: The entrance door is NOT clearly marked. Every other entrance has a small red sign that says go to the southwest corner. Where the hell is the SOUTHWEST corner??? I am 80 years old and use a cane. I tire easily. Going from door to door is crazy! The MAIN entrance is NOT is not CLEARLY marked at the parking lot. Maybe have a huge red sign with an arrow that designates the SOUTHWEST entrance. If this is not fixed I will contact the ADA and file a complaint. I will contact the Abilene sign board and file a complaint. I will call the news stations to voice my complaint. Whatever needs to be done!
