WORST health department EVER! Don't even bother calling them! I've called several times about a VERY URGENT situation, and not only do they NOT ANSWER their phones, they also WILL NOT call you back if you leave a message.

I didnt just feel like I was preyed upon, I was the sheep in a wolves den. I had a problem that a first quarter college kid in health 101 could have easily diagnosed with one hand tied behind their back. Instead I was tossed around by 3 different doctors who between them they had approximately 100 yrs experience. They smelled doubt in my voice when I told them what my health issue was. They bullied me instead of diagnose me.Took the money and ran. I dont get it? In the 10 yrs Ive lived in N.California every Dr. Ive seen has been either a bully or straight out of STUPID INC.The receptionist is very nice though five stars for sure. Sincerely. Inow have PTSD!

I wanted a covid test because I am having symptoms. I checked 3 surrounding counties, NO appointments no where. I called CDC resources and they could not help and didn’t seem to care. They told me to call my county public health, so I did, they proceeded to tell me they have no appointments due to employees needing tests and to contacts my doctor. What a f-up system.

Just called in to ask the procedure for getting a Covid 19 vaccination. I know I am on Tier 1C. Will my doctor (who I have not seen for 2+ years due to extremely good health) facilitate my "place in line"? Do I make my own appointment at a dispensing retailer pharmacy? The young lady's response to my questions was outstanding. She was polite, professional, and immediately understood the sense of my inquiry. Everything I wanted from a good Public Health Department.

I have been extremely disappointed with the service and compassion for people . We had a Covid question it took three days to receive a phone call back after three messages left on their voicemail. The staff was nothing but dismissive. They were more then willing to give verbal recommendations over the phone but unable to provide a note stating what advice they gave. They have delayed us returning to work despite being a first responder and trying to do the right thing due to the fact it took three days for a return phone call. Seek help and advice with another agency.
