SUGGEST Offering Text or Email LINKS -- VOICEMAIL IS A WASTE OF TIME AND ONLY FURTHER TIES UP THE UNANSWERED PHONE ... Promised RETURN CALLS on the VOICE MAIL don't come. FRUITLESS Effort over Multiple Days Attempting TO GET ON the County vaccination list .. NO ANSWER ON THE PHONE EVER -- ONLY VOICE MAIL MESSAGE Stating a Return Call to those leaving name & number left .. NO RETURN CALLS, NO ANSWER, NO TEXT, NO CHAT, NO EMAIL, ... SADLY, NO SURPRISE. NO FURTHER Attempts to BOTHER the Public Servants.

Poor to NO communication My elderly mother had gotten her first vaccine from Wayne County Health Department when they came to her senior living facility. She has attempted to get information regarding when the health department would be returning for the second vaccine. As it turns out they returned today, March 30, 2021 when she was not home. She has made attempts to get information and clear direction from Wayne County Health Department and has gotten no response. I am upset about the lack of response by Wayne County Public Health to her inquiries. Communication has been poor to nonexistent. I understand pandemic, minimal staffing and being overwhelmed when directions change, however, local Public Health Communication must always have clear communication and directions in order to accomplish the public health mandate in a pandemic.
