Yesterday was my first time going to the health department in 8 years since I was a teenager on birth control. I just recently found out I was pregnant (YAYYYY!!) and I got a letter in the mail about wic. I didn't know what it was or if I was elligible. I was able to get in without an appointment and every single staff member I met was welcoming and pleasant. They thoroughly explained everything to me and were all great listeners. They also give you tons of resources for things, you can tell they care! I'm truly thankful for what they do there. I recommend them 100% to anyone. God bless them all :)

I got my covid shot at the health department and I'm so happy I did. I take care of my son who is disabled. He got his and so did the rest of the family also. The ladies there were wonderful and caring and caring and so very kind. Thank you to them for all that they have done and continue to do for me and my family and our community.

Extremely slow. If at all possible, go to a different office! I called for an appointment and they said the whole morning was open until 11am, so I chose 9:15am. I arrived and immediately registered, which I thought was a good sign. After registering, I proceeded to sit in the waiting room with my one year old and nobody else for 45 minutes. 30 minutes in I asked how much longer it would be and a staff member replied, “Oh honey, I don’t know. You are on a nurses time.” Absolutely would NEVER recommend going here. If you must go then make sure to block off a 3 hour increment of your day. I cannot imagine what the wait time is like when they don’t have an open morning. *Once I was taken back the appointment was only 5 minutes and the nurse was nice. However, I cannot say the same for the other lady that I spoke to.
