I am helping the new owners of the business that I have for now to change the name of the sign outside, just change the name!!! we got there we called (Tim)from Zoning Enforcement who spoke to us in an unpleasant tone and I was trying to explain that we had the design with us for the new name, told us that things were not like 8 years ago when I opened the business that now everything was different that we have to send everything by email that he did not have to come to the door to assist us!!! I was perplexed and very sad because if everything has changed it is fine but I think and believe that he can speak to the public regarding and try to help new owners who are going to start a business in the town of Wilton. Everything has definitely changed, even the tone in which he speaks because 8 years ago he was super friendly and it was a wonderful experience unlike today!! I took the time to write this to help others not go through the same experience that I went through today and maybe Tim can see this review and be able to treat our citizens with more respect. I believe that the Town of Wilton is here to help and guide to the new owners who want to start a business and to everyone in general. It is incredible how all the people say that going to the town hall gives a headache and today we prove it.

I inquired in person about something and the clerk said, I kid you not, "Did you bother looking it up online?" With an attitude of contempt to boot. Apparently asking them to do there job in person is unacceptable. The guy in the tax collector department was incredibly polite, informative, friendly and professional. Which makes paying your car taxes bearable 👍
