Just absolutely awful. They have literally not once ever picked up the phone. Worst communication ever. Completely unhelpful. And echoing another reviewer - the parking permit thing is ridiculously terrible. They sent the stickers automatically for years and then stopped, didn't notify anyone, and started ticketing. To make things even worse, I knew I had a ticket on file but misplaced the physical ticket. Couldn't find it online. Called them and left a message because I wanted to pay it on time. They NEVER CALLED BACK. And then send me a letter telling me it's past due and there's a late fee. But god forbid you return my call. What an absolute joke. And everywhere you look it says to call them if you have any problems. Well my problem is that they don't answer the phone. Joke.

It took me a while to do this review, I’m a resident of Chelsea for over 20 years, trying to get a visitor pass or parking resident sticker on this city has become a nightmare. Inestead of been easy for the residents that pay taxes on properties and help with the growth of the city, they make it so difficult almost look like they have fun denying you a permit parking sticker. I feel like they discriminate Spanish people in this department . Today I brought my bill from Petro heating company trying to pay for a visitor parking permits a long with my license with the Chelsea address, and the said that bill is not an utility bill that is ridiculously , a visitor parking that only is good for a couple days is not that I’m gonna have a person parking in front of my house for a month. Maybe is a business going on with the person who give you money tickets . Please if you read this messages I feel like residents of Chelsea need to put a complain to the city.

One of the worst run City Halls ever, they should genuinely be embarrassed. Not to mention all the emails full of false or incomplete information.

Stopped in to the Chelsea City Hall to pick up records and it is great to see this building. Just as it was when I resided in Chelsea growing up in the '80s. Really good to get the nostalgia going. Otherwise, doing business there is a breeze because of the staff's professionalism. God bless Chelsea, Ma. and it's citizens!
