Nice clean place. Seemed understaffed, but the clerk was very friendly.

Althought it's a bummer paying taxes and fees, I have always had pleasant interactions with the staff. I have worked mostly with the city clerk and the tax collection teams. Its important to remember that they are closed on Fridays however they have extended hours on Wednesday.

Horrible town to work with. How do you close a town down during the week? Never heard a public service building being closed on Fridays. Even the police department was all shut down. And calling head doesn't help because no voice-mail or messages tells you the building is closed! On-line payment site is a joke too! Which you have to google how to pay on line because the ticket doesnt give you that information either! Nor does it tell you how much the fees are or how much is owed when your late. I'll put a pic in of the late fee rules so you can read it yourself. I guess I'll stop complaining about CT... at least all city hall buildings are open 5 days a week.

Yes, I just like to say I’m gonna redress my grievance and say if I was y’all I’d get rid of Nikki and the other lady with glasses the big heavier girl cause that was very uncalled for the way they acted. Please do better treat the public better just cause they’re exercising their first amendment right don’t treat us nasty. Thank you and have a good day. And please get rid of everybody in the school administration upstairs absolutely disgusting behavior

First of all closed on Friday?? The parking tickets in this town is a joke. Trying to pay them online is even worse. Have to call in to city clerk because the website is impossible to navigate. Under the "pay city bills" there is an option for parking tickets however it doesn't redirect you to the correct portal and the clerk does a very poor job directing you to the correct window. Once paid she said it would take about 24 hours for them to get the information passed thru to the registry. Told me to call AP Jones with my ticket number and confirmation number to expedite the process but that was not how things work according to AP Jones I now need to wait till the town forwards them the info (5 days later). Unable to get ahold of anybody because they're closed on Friday and will have to wait till Monday to get this resolved. Avoid dealing with them at all costs totally incompetent. Also when I was on the phone with the clerk she cut our conversation short because somebody more important walked into her office which I find very rude. Fix your website and don't prioritize people over others who've waited patiently. Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and hopefully Monday I can register my vehicle so much for 24 hours.
