I recently had to obtain a death certificate so, I called and asked for their hours and I was told they were open 8am-430pm with no Saturday hours. Given that I work M-F during the day, I left work early one day and arrived at approximately 412pm. The two individuals working in the department were sitting in chairs, talking to one another and didn't immediately address me. When one did walk over, I was informed me that couldn't help anyone who arrived later than 4pm. I said that I had specifically called and asked for their hours and had been told they were open until 430pm and no one mentioned this unwritten rule about needing to arrive by 4pm. This employee had zero concern with my frustration and just insisted she could not help me. I went back the next time I was able to break away early and obviously arrived before 4pm. In an attempt to better understand the need for this ridiculous rule, I used the stop watch on my cell to see exactly how long my transaction took. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out was less than 8 minutes and that included time to correct something with the transaction. Sadly, this just added to my aggravation as it clearly showed me that I could have very easily been helped on my first trip to this out of the way location. On the positive side, the employee who assisted me on trip #2 was stellar and I have had a positive experience previously when needing to call for assistance. I feel that the 4pm rule is completely unnecessary and HIGHLY abnormal for any business; however, if they insist on keeping the rule they need to clearly note this on their website (I looked and there is no such note), post it on the door signage (that currently says 8am-430pm), and relay this information to anyone who calls. Further, given that a great many people work M-F during the day, consideration should really be given to having Saturday hours or extended hours on one or more of the weekdays, particularly since they won't actually help anyone who arrives after 4pm.

They forced me to destroy an operational septic system and spend thousands to tap into a septic system that is known to have problems. When I asked for clarification on the process, they threatened to put a lien on my home. There were no complaints about my septic system. My neighbors and I were simply forced to tap into sewer we didn't need.

My daughter needed vaccines to enter kindergarten. After I lost my job in 2019, found new work and was then laid off on 2020 due to Covid I had no idea the status of her insurance and was in the midst of serious financial hardship. I made one call, had a scheduled appointment with a cash payment quoted of $80 for all her vaccines. It was hundreds cheaper than any pharmacy clinic when paying out of pocket. I got a reminder the day before which helps when things are chaotic! When I arrived they asked about insurance, I was embarrassed and explained I didn’t know but was happy to pay (her health was worth it)! They were able to confirm her Medicaid was still valid and the visit cost us NOTHING! The nurse was silly and friendly and my daughter left feeling proud! They even let her pick out a special story book of the best quality!! Thank you ladies for not making us feel bad for our situation and treating my daughter so special! As hard as these two years have been the smallest amount of respect and care made us feel amazing!

Jenna was so nice and understanding when my husband and I needed to get on the do not spray list due to lung conditions we have. She asked me if we wanted a call or email before each spray to confirm that we are still on the list. She explained that they are no longer doing citywide sprays and instead are doing a more targeted approach, spraying only areas with known positive West Nile virus. At our house, we are doing a bunch of other natural remedies to try to do our part too as west Nile is a big concern here. She was kind, informative, a great communicator, and put my concerns at ease! Thank you, Jenna, I appreciate you taking our health so seriously. I hope this get back to you and your supervisor! 😊

Ample, close parking. The building is clean and modern. There is a friendly person at the desk to help direct you as soon as you walk in. However, the departments are clearly marked and easy to find. I was there for a birth certificate and the process was very quick and efficient. I was in and out in no time! And the service was great!
