My wife and I attended our granddaughter's wedding there. A ceremony in advance of a ceremony to be performed in Mexico the following week. The Hall of Records is a beautiful place. Spotlessly clean, all of the personnel present were very professional and cordial. It is a division of the Courthouse and a great example of what a city hall should be in appearance and staff.

Ballot Box at curb. OPEN 24/7 & patrolled by Essex County Sheriff's officers. If you prefer giving your ballot to a person, present your I.D. in the LOBBY at the top of the stairs (may be a ramp available also?) Election staff is stationed inside to receive in-person drop off of ballots.

The front entrance of this building seems to be relatively new, however it is not wheelchair accessible! This front entrance has lots of steps and for the disabled it is extremely difficult to walk up these stairs! I have been to this building many times and have met a few people with health challenges who were struggling to get up and down these steps. Some adjustments should be made for people with disabilities! Inside the Building, more signage or better signage is needed to provide directions to certain areas. Shirley
