Walk- in everyone is always polite . They be getting you in and out. But when is busy expect to wait they're only human and can so much at a time but love how polite and how they try to get you in and out. Shout out to Assari super awesome at her job she be multitasking like no other and takes the time to explain if you're not understanding something...

I hate to agree with the other comments but they are all true. I submitted a request online twice, paid twice told me my birth certificate was mailed and still nothing 30 days later. Left several messages for vital records...finally received a phone call and her tone was extremely hostile, rude and nasty. I felt I was at her mercy because I really needed her help. Still got no where with her. I have no choice but to fly to Gary to get my birth certificate. Sad but very true. I wont give her name but I think at this point everyone knows her. Please do better.

It’s unprofessional at vital records you can’t hear because it’s an industrial fan right by the desk then the plastic shield in the front so I assume they think your being rude by raising your voice but it’s assumed if I can’t hear you you can’t hear me. It’s only one lady doing all the customer service and she comes off frustrated but the doll that notarized my sons birth certificate was sweet and was a good price .

Ms Brenda was absolutely, sincerely wonderful. Not much of a wait time requesting birth certificate.
