The whole process was easy and smooth and staff were all amazing. From checking in all the way to the nurse that administered my son's vaccine. I had recently made an appointment for my son at Walmart to get his vaccinations that were needed for school but without insurance it would have been almost $300, so the kind lady told us about this health unit(being that we are not from here) and I'm glad she did. Only cost me $20 for my son's vaccinations. I am extremely grateful for this place and would definitely recommend. Clean facility as well.

We visited the Jackson County Health Department in Lee’s Summit today to get immunizations for an upcoming trip to Africa. We needed to request an online appointment before we went and the online experience wasn’t great so our expectations weren’t high as we drove to their offices. Talk about night and day. Everyone we dealt with was terrific. We won’t hesitate to use their services again if the need arises.

JCHD helped me with a TB skin test to meet a needed job requirement. Everyone I interacted with was efficient, professional and kind. The ability to schedule an online appt is great and the text reminders were appreciated. Overall a great experience. Nurse Wendy was my nurse and provided excellent care and service
