I was very surprised to see Google reviews that were so low about the Lincoln Co. Clerks Office! My experience was Stellar! I am very impressed by Mr. Jenkins and his staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and very competent to say the least. Mr. Jenkins spent more time and energy with me than any one would have expected. Thank you Mr. Jenkins and staff !

If I remember it correctly, I had no issues or whatsoever when my husband and I applied for a marriage license here, their customer service was fine. They made sure they attend to your needs as soon as possible. The staff was polite and accommodating and was knowledgeable enough with their jobs.

One of the women working thr counter was extremely condecending and rude over the phone and in person at the counter. The only saving grace is the rest of the staff behind the counter seemed kind and helpful in our breif interactions, but if you have any kind issues understanding any paperwork provided to you or really any issue at all, do NOT ask the long-haired brunette

Wow... Finally got married to the worst experience.. first of all there's a jail right outside .. secondly they have a form that said " let OHP know your marriage status within 15 days" so I'm calling OHP leaving messenges stressing about losing my benefits leaving voicemails, just to finally sit on the phone with OHP for 43 minutes and they sent me to 4 different people just to have someone say" oh we don't help you with OHP until you get the legitimate marriage license in the mail and then go to social security and then you can call OHP." WHAT???? SO why would the county stress you out like that?? I called back to a nonchalant man saying " it'll get there any day" like this is my life what are y'all doing?? The lady at the OHP office was astonished by the paper I presented from the Lincoln county!! "It's a joke "she said! Depoe bay, Lincoln city , and Newport are the biggest jokes around Oregon!!! They only catch you for speeding and drugs... Good luck out there in the free country oregonians
