I had bought my childhood home about 4 years ago. During the excitement of moving, I misplaced my house deed. I didnt sleep that night. Lucky for me I was able to get a copy at Macomb county register of deeds. The kind office staff worker, Kristin calmed my nerves as she pulled up my house deed and printed off a copy. Thank you kristin for the comforting words and the super fast service. Keep up the great work!!

Very quick and easy process. I did need to fill out forms upon entering for the CPL renewal(which they had already prepared and clipboard ready. Form took me 3 minutes finished within 10 minutes after checking in. Thanks for the great customer service.

John at the vitals record department is one of the grossest employees i’ve seen first hand. We came to pick up my son’s birth certificate (that was left at the counter for us….) He waved us off after being sent to him saying “someone else will call you up” so he could prioritize 7 minutes on his phone before he left for the day. We got called up said our son’s name showed ID and left. 30 seconds JOHN is all it took. then after us it happened again with a lady who needed help he waved her away too. Be a decent human being next time.

I love the fact they relocated out of the court building down the street. The parking lot provides free parking which is definitely a plus. Upon the entrance, they have convenient kiosks to sign in. The lobby has several computers where you can complete forms. The office has a person working in the lobby at the counter for any questions. The amazing part was the fact it only took me around 10 minutes If that to get the services I needed. Once my name was called, the lady who was at counter #9 on 12/26/25 @ approximately 12:25pm was absolutely fantastic. She greeted me with a warm -friendly smile. She reviewed my information and handled the services as requested. She even gave me options on how I could make the process seem less. She was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable all while providing tier 1 quality service. This place is the best county office I’ve seen in my 59 years of living. No crowds, no lines or anything. If you need to visit this place, have no worries because they will definitely take care of you. I give them a 5 star review and definitely 2 👍🏽up!
