I went here to get verification of me being pregnant, and these people were the nicest people I have ever meet. Once I got there my number was called right as I was sitting down. They took my information to log me in, which only took less than ten minutes. Then I was told to go wait in another waiting room to be seen by a nurse and doctor. I was very anxious about being seen so my wait felt longer than it was. My wait was about 20 minutes. Once I was called they did all their test and congratulated me with a smile and gave me lots of valuable information ( a list of OBGYN's that take my insurance, a list of primary doctors, and some light ready with a calendar.). They also gave me 3 months worth of prenatal vitamins. I was an amazing experience and everyone was so nice. Such a great way to start of my pregnancy.

Reviewing as the health department usually gets a bad rep and let's face it, no one wants to go here unless they really need to. Then again and post covid, visitors can also be @$$hats - So... Went on a quiet day with hardly any other patients. Everyone from receptionist, counselor and provider were nice, knowledgeable and dare I say even empathetic. Have had way worse experiences at hospitals where my insurance is paying through the nose. Bloody good job Mecklenburg county. Keep it up!

I want to talk about the experience I had here today at the testing clinic. When I say it was better than any PCP, general practice or doctors office I've ever been to, I mean it. From the start to the end. I had an 8:30 appointment, the front desk girl made sure I had all the right paperwork and got me in 10 minutes before my appointment. Then I saw Maira. She was comforting and professional at the same time. Jada the nurse was equally as amazing. My phone was dying and they even gave me a charger so I could communicate with my people about my visit. The phlebotomist was absolutely incredible and comforting, she even hugged me. Then, the PA/NP (not sure), I think her name was Danielle, came in. The cherry on top, she was just so incredible...I can't thank all the women that were here on February 27th enough. The passion these people have for their work is so evident.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsibility shown at your facility. We came in for vaccine shots, and instead of leaving protected, my child caught her very first virus — transmitted by your visibly sick employee who should have stayed home. This was supposed to be a safe environment. Allowing sick staff to interact with patients is unacceptable. Now my child is still recovering from an illness that could have easily been prevented with basic workplace health policies. Please take immediate action to ensure that employees showing signs of illness do not work with the public. Families come to your office for protection, not to have their children exposed to unnecessary risks.

Since this is not told to anyone, let me be the first to tell you. Business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. Unknown to me, I got here at 11 and was told morning hours are 8 AM to 11 AM Afternoon hours are 1 PM to 5 PM. So I sat up here for 3 1/2 hours, was finally called to the back at 2:30 all for them to tell me there were no nurses available and I could not be seen. Mind you, a nurse is who called me to the back. According to them, you can only be seen as a walk in if you have no symptoms, which if TOTALLY BACKWARDS! Anyone with symptoms no matter how mild, are to make an appointment. Normally walk-ins are to be squeezed in where possible but that is not case here. So here I am with a health concern, and was turned away!! Very disheartening and a waste of my Friday!
