I moved here to live for better place. I went for birth certificate for my baby in the Melrose city hall. They were just telling me the person who do it is on lunch. Also, they said it takes 6 days to get. What is going on there?

Here is a wonderful idea, due to the dangers of the intersection at west Emerson and Vinton st in Melrose, second busiest intersection in Melrose a well known fact!combined with students crossing through and most people would think safety first, apparently not a priority for the city!!!!! Instead of a two way stop, what about a four way stop, the effectiveness of having a traffic supervisor there is like having an extra tree!more drivers just ignore it! That's the comparison someone from city hall should go there and stay for more than ten minutes I pay taxes too!!!!!

Went to city hall to vote. People were super helpful and pleasant. The hall was inexplicably cluttered with empty boxes. I had to park in back to access the Handicapped entrance and elevator to the main floor. An acceptable experience for me. the building is very old and interesting to navigate. Parking's a toughie in the middle of the day. Yet, no worries, no complaints.

I’m huge with customer service and I believe they should take a course on it. I asked a simple question about a birth certificate and before I can even finish they answered so fast and hung up before I can even ask when should I expect it. They treated me like if I was in a drive thru at McDonald’s or something.

I love visiting City Hall’s in small towns/cities, and since I currently live in Melrose, I always enjoy seeing the City Hall building at sunset. Anytime I’ve been and interacted with staff they’ve been friendly and respectful.
