Got there at 11:53am. They had a sign outside the main door that said to call their land line, and to wear a mask to go inside. I called the number a total of 23 times from 11:53am to 1:17pm. At 12:19pm, my call was answered by someone in environmental. The woman told me that they are at lunch (posted no where on their building) and that the person I need to speak to for the task I need will get back a little before one and she will call me. She told me it would be best if i waited. Comes to 1:50pm. Still no call. I called them, no answer. Comes to 1pm. Still no call. I called them, no answer. Comes to 1:16pm. I called them. Was told the person I need isn’t even working today, and that I need to come back another day. Lunch hours should be posted no matter what- to prevent these situations, and other employees and departments should be aware of who is and who is not there that day to not spread false information. When the last woman i spoke to on the phone told me in a slightly snarky tone ‘well we were at lunch’ and I said ‘how am I supposed to know when its not posted with your hours on the building?’ She brushed me off and told me to call or come another day. Overwhelmed with the unprofessionalism of this place. You all didn’t answer the phones before you went on your lunch, probably because you all clocked out early or just didnt want to deal with it. You all dont post lunch times in your hours. And you all gave me false information to keep me outside the building longer.
