Would put zero stars if I could. The lady that we spoke was very rude. I asked her to put my vehicle in mine and my fiancés name, when I got my papers she had just put it in my name. She did not greet me or say “how can I help you” she did not say “have a good day or anything of that nature”. She hardly said anything to me at all. When “asking” for my license she said “I need your license”. By far the worst customer service

The way they attacked me as I walked in the door you would of thought I broke there computer. The girl that sits at the first window was the worst she rolled her eyes at me. The correct way to handle it would of been apologize for the inconvenience and let us know to come back later, not attacked us.

I was apprehensive because they had bad reviews, & I had to drive from Shepherdsville. since their Clerk's office was closed. The lady that helped me was great, & it took me only a minute or 2! I guess it either depends on who you get, or there were different staff before.

Was given incorrect information from 3 of the 5 workers that I had all documents needed, after a 5 HOUR WAIT was turned away! 5/6/25

This is where my mother in law brought me after getting married to learn my new family roots. As a family we took the ride to Bardstown to especially come here. There was a very helpful staff member who brought out all the documents showing our relatives names, dates of birth, death, enslaved, and once they were freed from slavery. It's a very sobering moment. This country clerk's office has done a great job of keeping these records.
