The Newfane town clerk is the most rude and unhelpful clerk I've ever had to deal with in all my years of doing deed research. I went during listed office hours, and was told immediately that she was closing early that day. She offered no help, and when I asked questions, she replied with a heavy sigh, and gave quick and vague answers. She definitely made me feel like I was an annoyance just by being there. She shouldn't be in a job where she's supposed to be helping the public.
