This place has my brother in custody but no phone number to know what is going on with him. The government needs to investigate this town

We know nothing about the courthouse, or what goes on in there locally. We stopped to look at the historical landmarks out front and read them. There is also the ten Commandments out front on a large block of stone. One marker speaks to Doctor Oscar Loyd who moved to Vega in 1907. Interested in weather, had the first car and even a baseball team. The sign was erected in 1966. Another stone marker speaks to Confederate Senator W. Oldham whom the county is named for and was erected in 1963. The third and oldest relates information on Old Tascosa, a town that was the county seat before Vega and is now a ghost town. This marker is the newest being erected in 1967.
