In this day and age the only two forms of currency they take are the ones no one uses anymore. Cash and checks. They seriously do not accept debit or credit cards. So much for customer service when they tell you you have to leave and go find it an ATM. I would have much preferred to pay the $0.60 credit card fee on my transaction instead of the $4 ATM fee. I am just venting. I can give them zero stars and it's not like anyone can go to the other clerk's office. Time to get into the new millennium.

Not thrilled with my customer service experience - I was met with frustration and anger when I called - and usually when someone has to call the county clerk, they are already in a stressed, anxious, and vulnerable place. Please be aware that tone and attitude in our interactions with people make a difference.

These clowns make backdoor calls to all their friends of the court. I put a petition in and my ex knew about it 30 minutes after I filed. Do not do busses with the people.
