From the DMV, to Probate Dept, etc. The employees are always willing to help, be nice & engaging. SHERRY TROUT is one of them! What a breath of fresh air she is! The process of probating a loved ones estate is already tough enough but when an issue arises and you make every attempt to resolve it prior to moving up the chain of command it can get even more frustrating. When we received the final order and mothers name was incorrect on it we went through the channels to no avail. On my third phone call and following a physical visit to the office initially to resolve the typographical error, we were pushed through to Rhonda the supervisor. It's true, one skilled and compassionate individual can alter the entire aura of a frustrating situation. She was professional, compassionate and thorough. She got all the information (albeit again) and promised to hand walk it to the judge AND the recorder of deeds and have it resolved. Skeptical, yes. Yesterday we received the recorded updated final order and deed! Correct and complete. If you believe that she had plenty of free time to just skip down the hall and walk our order around to several different departments.... Guess again. Experience in the field tells me she had a VERY full desk and many pending other items via for her attention , yet she took the time to handle ours and get it mailed expeditiously to us within a most reasonable few days turn around. Thank YOU Rhonda! Hats off to an amazing follow through!

I can’t say enough good things about Mrs. Katie at the Dallas probate office. The passport office had accidentally misspelled my name, and I was feeling completely overwhelmed trying to figure out how to fix it. When I called, Mrs. Katie was so kind and patient—she walked me through every step I needed to take. She even noticed how stressed I was and went above and beyond by scheduling me an appointment the very next day. At the appointment, she explained everything again, helped me prepare the paperwork, and personally made sure it got mailed out. The best part? She didn’t charge me for a new passport. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to helping people truly stood out. It’s rare to find someone who cares that much about their work and the people they’re helping. Mrs. Katie turned what could have been a nightmare into a smooth, stress-free process. Amazing customer service and such a blessing to work with!

Malia with the probate office is more than helpful I had submitted some paperwork some documents and I called her to ask her about it. And she was more than helpful and very very nice. And all the people I have dealt with there have been nice.
