Today was the worst experience and feeling I’ve had at the Benton health Department my appointment time was 8:20 am I arrived at 8:28 there where two people ahead of me I signed the sign in sheet two people came in after me that was called to be seen before me I sat in the waiting area patiently finally after a whole hour of waiting and the only one in the waiting area I go to the window to ask why haven’t I been called yet one of the ladies say the other lady is checking me in the other lady say no I’m answering the phone you would think after seeing I was the only person in the waiting area someone would have ask if I have been seen or need help I went back to the window and asked if there was a manager available I spoke with her and explain and showed her the sign in book where I was skipped just to be told they had other appointments after a hour and thirty minutes I was called to the back the nurse who seen me said she seen where it was being processed for a while and was wondering what was going on cause she had no patients I missed a interview I had at 10:30 and waited a hour and thirty minutes with me being the only one in the waiting area because the color of my skin I have heard about saline county but today I have seen for myself racism still exists there even if you have an appointment you will be put last!

I took my daughter for routine vaccinations and our experience was excellent. We had a scheduled appointment. There was virtually no wait. The front desk staff member was very friendly, and the nurse administering the vaccines was informative and kind. I am grateful for such an easy visit.
