Not only are they slow to respond but their online hours don’t match their actual clerk hours. Which upon showing up after 2, we get told that the records department hours are from 8am to 1pm and not the posted hours online of 8am to 4pm/5pm.

Very quiet office with manny nice employees. The actual process is flawed in some respects. I feel like they use their government power to force their will on the public unreasonably. We ordered a birth certificate online, which arrived damaged. I drove in due to time constraints to get a new copy. They wouldn’t even consider not charging despite the obvious recent order. I can’t think of a scenario where people are hoarding extra copies of birth certificates. The principal is that any reasonable person would have honored the recent transaction. I was disappointed given how fancy and well funded everything in the government complex was.

I'll admit, I was wary having to have to deal with a government agency due to the general impression of inefficiency and bureaucracy. But I was quickly put to ease by the gentleman in booth 5 who guided me through the forms I have to fill out to record a deed. He and the lady in booth 1 after I completed the forms were friendly, patient and polite. Great customer service!

I'm thankful for the privlige of fast and effective government. I was able to get all the documents I need in roughly 20 minutes. I recently had to wait four hours for just a tax receipt and no cash to pay it (office didn't take cards) for a property overseas at a foreign city hall. In contrast to that experience, I’m grateful for the services available to me here.
