I went to the tax assessor to have him change something for me and they were so nice and helpful. It’s nice to deal with the town of Smithfield. They’re great.

We have some of the best open spaces for any outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, a great dog park and some of the most beautiful scenic views for a town of its size. The town government is proactive with the community while keeping it affordable doing a great job managing the budget. Our public works department is one of the best around. They're always out there working hard and responding promptly from the community requests. There is both a suburban and rural feeling while conveniently located to major highways 295 and state roads 7 and 44.
