Otherwise known as Southborough Town Hall. "Town House" sounds decidedly like something else.

I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with Southborough Town Hall. Someone found my ID and turned it in to them. I contacted the office several times to recover it and was told it had been sent to the old address listed on the ID without anyone confirming it with me, even though I had already reached out. That decision was careless and made things worse. After over a month of waiting, and involving other people to help, the ID never arrived. When I called again, I spoke to a woman at the front desk who didn’t seem to know anything about the situation, but she said she would talk to someone about it. As soon as I realized she was going to ask the same man I had dealt with before an older, tall gentleman and I immediately thought, “Yep, he’s not going to help me.” And I was right. He came out of his office already yelling at me. He didn’t even ask my name or let me speak. Instead, he shouted, “I already told you!” as if I were a child. The way he treated me was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. The women at the front were polite and seemed willing to help, but this man should not be working in a public office. No one deserves to be spoken to that way, especially by someone whose job is to serve the public. Southborough Town Hall should seriously address how their staff treats people and ensure that everyone is given basic respect and dignity, regardless of background.
