Vera Lloyd is the kindest person I’ve ever met. She helped me when I needed help and she made me feel welcomed and was just a sweet soul! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

My daughter drinks only soy formula and after calling and speaking to the nutritionist, my wic was updated. Both ladies were kind and patient. My daughters name is also abstract and they didn’t give me any trouble. I’m not sure what happened with these other people but they are always so great with me.

Everyone on the staff was so kind and professional. I went to get immunizations for my toddler and he's super not big into needles. They were so helpful and even though it was a difficult process they did it very quickly and were so sweet. The only downside, and it's frankly kind of major, is there was a long, long wait. I arrived right at 8 am and 9 people were ahead of me. We didn't leave until 10:30. I understand totally that it is a walk-in clinic and some days are busy but it was pretty stress inducing to try to get a 1.5 year old to wait that long in relative peace. Thank goodness for YouTube, I guess. There is only 1 waiting room, unlike the Spotsy Health Dept, and it is not exactly child friendly (in terms of having toys, which I get is a total luxury! but it's not uncommon) so definitely get very antsy. I think I would be okay bringing an older child that can entertain themself or even a younger one that just wants to be bounced around, but I would avoid going here with a kid in the nosy/grabby/running around phase.

Everybody in the office is very friendly and helpful! However there is no way to get in contact with anyone via phone. None of the phone extensions actually ring, if you're luck the extension you dial might loop you back to the main message.

Thank you to the team at the Stafford Health Department for the service provided with empathy and kindness. I helped a friend get her children immunizations so they could enroll in school. When I called here, I was received with understanding and they scheduled an appointment even though these services are at capacity here and other organizations. Everyone from administration to the nurses handled the family with care and were beyond exceptional. Thank you to you all. The kids are now enrolled in school. They'll remember these first interactions in Virginia and be thankful for your kindness during this significant transition. Highly recommend the Stafford Health Department for immunization services.
