Very experienced staff in the facility. I needed to have some work documents completed. Gracious and helpful. There is lots of construction occurring around the facility. The outdoor weather is warm and many people are outside on break or taking a break.

Went to have a unit of blood drawn. As usual anyone there that I have contact with is more than pleasant. People that work there will always stop to see if you need help or directions. I couldn't ask for a better place to go to for my health care needs . My thanks to everyone there for all you do.

I first came to this VA at the beginning of June. I had an appointment with my new primary care doctor (which was great; very thorough); however, the problems began when I requested an appointment with mental health. I stated that I would be able to come in person for a few weeks until I began a contract in NY, at which point I would need to do tele-health. I was not scheduled for an appointment until July 29th. That first provider was 25 minutes late for my tele-health appointment and, as I had another appointment scheduled, we spoke for less than 5 minutes. We scheduled another appointment for the following week on Tuesday. By Monday, I had not received an email with my appointment link, I checked My HealtheVet and no appointments were listed. I called and whomever I spoke to said they would figure out who my appointment was with and get back to me. I never heard back. I tried calling several times with no success. Over a week later, I got a call from a care manager who apologized profusely and scheduled me for an appointment today, Aug 23 at 1100. Again, no email, no confirmation, I check My HealtheVet, no appointments shown. I tried calling and leaving messages with the care manager the last 2 days, no response. I have not heard from a mental health provider. I plan my days around appointments and have continually wasted my time waiting for the VA. I heard such wonderful things about the WRJ VA, but thus far, have been sorely disappointed.

I have been to multiple VA hospital throughout the country and White River Junction has exceeded my expectations with every visit. Every doctor, nurse, and multiple other contacts have been polite and helpful in any way they can. I'm so glad I finally got up here to VT!

In Jacksonville, Florida, I saw the same doctor time after time I’ve been going to White River since I moved to Vermont in 2001 and I’ve NEVER seen the same person twice. Or even worse I’ve never seen my primary care physician once! Absolute worst experience of my life, now I know why they push you to the suicide hotline.
