If you’re desiring immunizations for your child, be sure you have extra time in your schedule to make multiple trips just to have them make an appointment. Unlike Davidson County, this location does not have access to the TN Dept of Health Vaccine record database so you have to drive over with a paper copy before even discussing making an appointment. I was able to make an appointment over the phone for the Davidson County Health Department without issue. If you have access to a fax machine you can send your child’s records that way but who has a fax machine these days? I’m thankful Davidson County has the right technology to assist me in making an appointment!

I done gone in there and had the best service. The ladies working there made me forget I was in a government building. I hate government buildings. I usually get lost in them. Two weeks ago I got lost in Orpy Mills. Last week, I got lost at the Zoo. So I really like this place and the people working there.

I really wished I had gotten the na, e of the lady who helped me get a certified copy of my birth certificate. She was amazing. All of the ladies up front were very nice and greeted me. But back to the one who helped me, I don't know your name but I want to thank you for helping me and being so kind, I know it can be frustrating at times and not everyone is going to be nice. I wanted to say thank you.

Felt judged from the moment I walked in. Everyone has an attitude and is incredibly rude. Returned a missed phone call and was told that no one had called me. Had some diagnostic imaging done at another facility and was told everything looked fine. Health Department called aggressively for three days and sent two letters demanding that I call them immediately before we finally managed to connect and told me that I needed additional tests. When I told them that I was told everything looked good, the extremely hostile Rachel told me that the rude and judgemental Dr. Jazzabi said I needed more testing and that the insurance I'd been approved for wasn't easy to get. Not sure what that has to do with anything, but okay. Staff needs to learn some bedside manner and understand how to treat people who have been given potential life changing news.
