I looked online to find where I could get a birth certificate for my son online it shows that you can go to the caddo parish health unit this is no longer true upon arrival I was informed by the deputy that they no longer offered that service at the health unit she now have to go downtown to caddo district Court and go to the clerk of courts office where it cost $34.

Staff member was very rude. Upon entering building was greeted by receptionist she seem nice and informative. The staff member(older African American woman) whom name I did not receive because she never greeted me introduce herself or inform me about wic education she handed me my paperwork and rudely told me to read it myself but used other words. Never explain benefits which was unprofessional being this is my first child so first time on wic. Do not recommend.

I arrive at my apartment at 8. The person at the desk highlighted in my name but never call me. When I asked them about it they have no explanation. So in the end results I left at 12:10 on the out way of getting checked out the lady see me standing there first I even asked her is this where you need to be checked out. She just look at me. She took two people that came after me and made me wait I just feel like that is poor customer service skills when the government is providing assistance everybody should be seen in the same manner that comes first

I spoke to an employee about getting shot records and shots….told me they had the vaccines in-house so I can get them…drove to the health unit to sit n wait… all that wasted time n drive over there to be told they didn’t have it and it was up to me to go to the pharmacy and get it done just to come back to the health unit n get a updated record… Too much technology for you NOT to know what you have and waste patients time… Haven’t been to the health unit in a long time… now I see why…

The first time I needed to go through this WIC office it was really wonderful, ladies were very polite and helpful and they used to answer the phone. This was back in May. But now, however, can’t get anyone to return my calls, I’ve left several voicemails, and they even advertise that they start returning calls at 2 but that doesn’t seem to be true. Please read your reviews and take into consideration what your clientele is asking for. I’m really hoping for a return call. My babies need you to call me back please. But I will continue to call and leave messages everyday until then.
