This place is actually pretty good! I absolutely love seeing Jana Duncan and she takes the time to listen and hear your needs out. She is super respectful, doesn’t force anything on anyone if they feel uncomfortable. She explains treatment options and diagnosis very well and make it easy to understand. She is kind and patient with me. If you need a doctor I would highly suggest you see her because you won’t be disappointed in her care. I also like how they have a sliding fee scale too. Super helpful

I am rarely upset enough to write a bad review, but today I am. I called this morning to find out about the teen walk in clinic that happens every Thursday. I inquired about what service I needed for my daughter and was told that I need to come in between 2 and 5pm, but as close to 2 as possible. The service I requested would need a little extra time for a checkup first. I took the afternoon off of work (PTO time), went and got my daughter, and arrived at the District Health office at 2:15pm. I was told that the clinic was already full, though there were two people in the waiting room. At no point did they mention on the phone that the clinic might be full, and that it was a chancy endeavor to be able to get in. Had they told me that I would not lost half a vacation day to waste my time. I am really upset at the way this walk in clinic works. If you need an appointment for a service that is listed on the walk in clinic service list, then that should be stated on the website and mentioned on the phone. I also did not feel they listened to me when I said I called and no one told me that it fills up. I am just really annoyed. Don't waste your time trying to get services here unless you have a lot of time on your hands and don't care if you have to make multiple trips on the off chance they can fit you in.

I have had a very good experience going to Central District Health. The staff has always been very professional and well informed in everything they do. I've been going here on and off for the past ten years and they've always made me feel comfortable and secure in some of the most difficult of situations! Life's not always easy and it's nice to have a place to turn to where I can get secure, well educated individuals to turn to. Having a place like this is so very important for everyone to have!

We recently had an appointment here for my wifes annual examination and some testing as a secondary checkup to address some concerns. There was no examination done, even after asking if she was scheduled for an exam and being told yes. My wife was also instructed to do the testing herself? Why would you make the patient do their own testing? Let alone a patient that's language challenged? This is unprofessional and a hazard to the patient and a risk to accurate testing. They did, surprisingly, do the blood test instead of asking us to do it. The doctor seemed more like a care giver than an actual doctor, for the 3 minutes she was actually there. No introduction at all and seemed disinterested.
