100 PERCENT 5 STAR rating for the help provided by the staff at civil. They definitely go above and beyond. I wish I had the name of the employees who helped me. Id definitely give them a shout-out. What turns this into a 1 star are the gentleman and woman downstairs at the entrance. I only got a glimpse of the officer at the door, barring it from myself and another individual from entering. I believe his name was Officer Ramier (I think). He ensured we could not get in even though there was enough time left on the work day to get in and out for something quick and important. His fellow staff watched and did nothing to remediate the situation. It might not do anything for myself, but I will being reaching out to my elected representative to maybe help coordinate a solution for future individuals. I hate being re-stationed all over the U.S every few years because it makes legal and official paper a pain to do. Another hurdle that can be mitigated by simply following (or changing time to reflect accurate closure) the allotted time for myself and fellow individuals. Telling me "My watch says its closing time" does not add up. Time is universal and if your staff watches are off sync, a resync needs to happen, if possible. I do feel bad for calling him lazy before leaving. It was a long day, so I was in the wrong for letting my day ge the better of me.

I made a call to the Circuit Court Office and had the pleasure of speaking with Seth, a true professional. I called for information that he did not have, however Seth went out of his way to search for anything he could to help me. I am super grateful and wanted to share, because I’m sure more people complain than give praise! So shout out to Seth for being a caring human being! Have the best day EVER!

The magistrate was sexist. She didn't listen to anything even with documented proof. She couldn't get past my brother not being able to see the his kids because his estranged wife had prevented him from seeing them by constantly moving, not providing an address, and not allowing him to see his kids. She didn't pay attention to the fact of my niece leaving the care of her mother's house and going to my brother house because of the treatment that occured at her mother's house. The mother did not have the kids enrolled into school for 2 1/2 years and did not enrolled them until my brother tried to gain custody of the kids. She leaves the older kids home to take care of the younger child who has autism and he epileptic. He is not in any type of therapy. She has neglected medical needs and education. Education does not seem to be important in the state of Maryland the fact of the truancy law is not be taken seriously. The mother takes the child supports and spends it on her boyfriends. The mother tried given the kids weed gummies and offering them vapes. Now the magistrate said she knows when kids are being coached and knows when they are lying but couldn't tell the kids were lying (because they admitted to their father that they did). There was a lot more issues going on but I will leave inside the home. What I don't understand is the magistrate calling the mother in the middle court (the mother knew about court and said it was childish and said she wasn't coming). Because the magistrate called her she showed up at the end of court, giving her more time and acknowledging her lies. This case wasn't based off of facts but rather personal judgments.

Closing hours are 4:28 not 4:30 as posted! The deputy inside stood and looked at his watch behind the locked door as I attempted to enter today. If you close at 4:28 then adjust your website hours!
