This office is so unprofessional and rude. Such an overreach of authority. No flexibility and the Register of Deeds Lunday Riggsbee and her staff pride themselves on ZERO customer service even to attorneys. From a former register of deeds employee of 20 years. (from another county, this is a disgrace to the office)

This building is located on a traffic circle, making it a bit tricky to spot the parking entrance, because it is an unmarked driveway that emerges right after passing the site. There is plenty of parking available, though. Also, according to Google Maps, the front door is at the front of the building, but it's actually located on the corner, in an underpass, where the site connects to a neighboring building. So, I've added an edit update, in order to increase user ability to find the place.

One of the older ladies working there need to freshen up on their customer service skills or just retire, especially the lady with all the white hair. I just wanted to take an oath and I was not aware I needed to make an appointment online. I looked online and I asked her where it was located and she said “it’s been there for 3 years since COVID on our website” she could’ve guided me or pointed it out since I had the website pulled up on my phone. It took her less than 5 minutes to do my paper work and oath but it seemed like it was such an inconvenience to her. She told me to get my receipt at the counter and all she said was “here you go.” I stood there because I wasn’t sure if that was it but she just turned her back to me and i walked out. I’m giving it 2 stars because it was quick but other than that don’t expect welcoming service from her.
