I had a wonderful experience visiting the Chesapeake Health Dept. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and asked how I could be helped. I was able to schedule an appointment for a TB screening for employment. When she (Kamisha) realized the appointment time would work, she called me back, apologized and rescheduled. Guess what? I showed up at the original time. Can you believe I was not turned around but was offered to stay provided the nurse could see me. She asked if there were other vaccinations I’d like to do. Then, Nurse Whitney took over. She was even more friendly than the service rep, made me comfortable and served me as if it were my actual appointment time. I would definitely go back for services if needed and even came home to encourage family to do the same.

I had the privilege of walking into the Chesapeake Health Department twice this week. Both times I was greeted with smiling faces. Patience and understanding. I wish I would have gotten the names of the nice ladies that helped me. Including the nurse and the lady she was training. And the sweet ladies behind the glass. Excellent experience. Thank you for all you do.
