We get married here,it’s so easy and friendly staff, I am just wondering if anybody get CERTIFICATE OF OFFICIAL RECORD along with the marriage Certificate? We live overseas and to put me on my husband’s visa here in Middle East ,marriage certificate should be authenticated. But to authenticate in Washington, it should be 2 page of marriage certifications and we just have 1 of them but marriage certificate.

I was treated bad I told the judge I was adhd bipolar and I have anxiety and ptsd I went to a Lil wayne concert on August 1st I was not on my medication the police started asking me questions im terrified by them I called my mom to get me and instead they slam. Me in the back on the police car than slam me at the police station I didnt even know what was going on that was my first time going out va beach so I really dont know the rules

I attended a courthouse wedding here. The building was confusing and difficult to navigate but we found it. Unfortunately no cell phones are allowed in the building so the bride's mother wasn't able to watch which was disappointing. But the biggest problem was the discrepancy between the fee posted online and what the judge demanded. Online it says that the fee is $50 for a judge to preside over the ceremony. After the ceremony the judge said that's only for military. But it is $75 for everyone else. The poor groom had to scramble for another $25. And they only take cash. The groom before us had to go the an ATM in the middle of his ceremony. 🫣 Overall it was a very sweet ceremony and the judge went above what we were expecting to make their marriage special. Also there are 2 chairs for the bride and groom and 6 seats for guests. We had 8 guests and it was fine.
