When doing a Power of Attorney, make sure you print out a Virginia Land Record Cover Sheet. Staff will not print one for you. A COVER SHEET!!!!! Seriously, I would have been happy to pay 10 cents for them to print a cover sheet, but I had to leave to print this cover sheet and return. Absolutely not citizen-friendly. Roanoke, we can do better. This is a stressful process for any family to deal with. Please assist citizens in navigating the process. PRINT THE COVER SHEET! Update! Make sure you also get a VLRCS barcode. This is my third visit without success. Every time I come back, they need something else. Communication with circuit court employees needs to be much better. They stated again that they cannot print because they don’t have a computer. However, she was using one! When going to the VLRCS site to get your barcode, the tutorial (how-to instructions) link does not work. The HELP link is broken as well! I have no clue how to proceed. Please assist citizens in navigating the process!!!
