Why wasn’t this office answering their phone on Wed, 11/25/2020!!?? While it may be the day before Thanksgiving, the hours show it should have been open until 4:30!!! Indeed, when you go to their web site it says OPEN; but no one would answer the phone. I guess this what the taxpayers of Salem get....people who DO NOT want to do their job for those who pay their salary or people WHO JUST DON’T CARE. NOT VERY IMPRESSIVE FOR THE CLERK OF THE COURT TO obviously close down early at the expense of the taxpayer/citizen. Very disappointing!!!

Most of the people were polite the lady on the second floor she's African American and works where you apply for a name change is EXTREMELY RUDE. I hoped that this last Time that I came in she wouldn't help me. She's rude!!!! Everyone else seemed great.
