I needed a copy of my dad's death certificate. I was prepared for all sorts of red tape and a long wait. Danielle provided me with the request form as soon as I approached the desk. It literally took me longer to fill out the form than it took for her to provide me with the copy. She was also extremely personable, great smile! It was so refreshing to meet someone who was pleasant and helpful. Thank you Danielle!!!

I signed up for the lead hazard program which I heard about in an ad. It has been such a blessing for our family. We have two small kids, so making sure our home is safe is really important to us. The team inspected and found lead, then took care of removing it and the repairing of my home. Something that we wouldn’t have been able to handle on our own. It’s a huge relief knowing our kids aren’t being exposed to lead in the place they should feel safest. We’re so thankful for the help from Emily and the amazing team at Hamilton County Public Health!

The reason why someone visits the health department to ask question is for guidance. The most unprofessional man in the health department who made it difficult to ask a question as a bakery owner, is in need for someone to guide him professionally on how to listen and provide information that is constructive and not feel combative. To say I was confusing the state and county license. No, I understood everything, you would not stop talking to listen. You have an issue with listening. If I was a burden which is how you made me feel, you should have stayed in the back. You automatically assumed I was not licensed, did not know difference between cottage food and a license bakery. All I wanted to know, what selling scenario do I contact the health department. But you created a bad environment, I stopped listening and left. Advise, ask the issue, listen and then respond. Even your posture and stance was unprofessional, you came at me in defense mode for not answering my questions. I should have asked for your manager because your asking, lestrrning and and information skills are zero. I didn't get your name because you did not stop talking.
