Very friendly and helpful staff, although wasnt able to get my birth certificate because I was born in a different state, they printed out directions of how to get it fast online.

They have erratic hours that are not posted anywhere. They closed early 07/25/2023 (about 3 pm) and are only open tomorrow until noon for "Norwood Days." Fabulous use of our tax dollars.

I like the Norwood health Department because you can get your birth certificate the same day that you order it as long as it's between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. they stop doing birth certificates at 4:00 p.m. and to get a certified copy of your birth certificate it is $25.

What is the point of taxpayers funding the Norwood board of health when they refuse to do anything about people ripping asbestos shingles off of their houses and throwing them into the neighbor's yards and infecting the air quality of the entire neighborhood. Board of health or board of laziness?
