They must have a phone phobia cause they don’t ever answer. Ring ring ring. I called like 10 times just today.

I followed directions on the State website for mail-in voters to call the County Clerk’s office to have them mail me a vote by mail ballot. I gave the reason that was relating to me listed on the website - that my spouse is disabled and I couldn’t leave him. The person I spoke to told me (and continued to read her list of reasons) that were available - disabled was one of them, but not “spouse of”, which I told her was specifically on the State website. When she would not give an inch I asked to speak with someone else, to which she would only reply again what was written in her rules. It was an extremely unprofessional and unhelpful experience. I finally said “thanks anyway”, and unfortunately saw the review option pop up.

First time we went to get a marriage license, the clerk was very kind and accidentally signed in the wrong place. Thankfully our officiant caught it! When coming back the second time, the clerk was incredibly rude, had a nasty attitude and was just overall extremely unpleasant. Making an already stressful situation even worse. I have no fault of the first lady as she seemed a little new but that second lady was just awful.
