This afternoon went to Monroe County clerk office. Mary (I asked only one Mary ) is super… patient, wonderful, nice and superb amazingly she helped me filling form after form I don’t know what can I do without her help. Her knowledge is beyond my expectations also her personality is always smile with soft voice. I keep saying sorry her answer was always it’s OK that how amazing Mary is. Thank you Mary! All offices should hire employees like Mary but nowadays it’s hard to find people as good as Mary Again thank you Mary!

Very fast and friendly service. Note that the customer entrance is on Fitzhugh street. There is a security entrance and metal detector there for everyone's safety. I didn't find an entrance on Irving St, and the entrance on S. Main St. is for employees.

I have tried reaching out to Jamie Romeo numerous times to disciss issues with Monroe County DMV with no response. I have emailed with no response, called and spoken with Debra Kennedy assist clerk. Debra said she would have Jamie respond. I have called 4 times to the clerks office and get a message to call back later with no option to leave a message. Extremely disappointing that Jamie is unwilling to speak with members of community.

Honestly, I feel there needs to be an audit and some people need to be fired and arrested. My son’s indictment and file went missing a year ago. Either that or his case was dismissed. My son had copies of documents before the file went missing. When it returned, the same documents he had were re-filed, re-printed and re-signed. How is this allowed? It’s fraud and a crime. One document was filed may8,2024 and now the new one was filed sept. 24,2025. I have been in contact with many agencies about this. Let’s see what happens.

This organization is completely either incompetent or intentionally ignoring the people that come there to the desk, and request records formally, pay for the records with a certified check and then you get nothing. I received a call that my records were ready to be picked up. We sent a certified check and a self addressed envelope, postage prepaid....and they didn't send us the records. On the other hand , they kept the check we paid. Now no one will answer the phone No one will return calls. Exactly what do you do as a job at the monroe County Clerks office?
