So helpful finding a contact for one of the cemeteries when so many offices and services are tough to reach these days.

I had a very nice experience with the clerk here. I had to pay a minor parking violation (winter parking ban). Completely my fault, I just forgot about the parking restriction. I'm very happy that the police didn't tow my vehicle. It was very easy to figure out where I needed to go. The town clerk was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to any further interactions I may have with the town office. Hopefully not regarding parking violations.

The few times I’ve had contact with the Montague Town Hall I was not impressed. One was an issue I wanted to address over the phone and the town clerk wasn’t helpful. The other I came into the building because I needed some quick paperwork done (they knew I was coming I called ahead), and they acted like I was bothering them the entire time even though the town clerk and an associate were just standing around chatting.

I spend a bit of time at Unity Park, as I visit Turners Falls once or twice a month eoth my daughter. At times it feels like we're lost somewhere WORLDS AWAY FROM HOME, because of the differences between our town and theirs, when in fact its only a quick 46 min drive on the highway! Turners Falls (Montague) is just such a nice and clean and peaceful, quaint little town! I love it! Our favorite spot is walking along the river by the canal. I was quite surprised on my last visit because I never even realized that its city hall was RIGHT THERE next to us this entire time, on every visit!! The bridge and the canal and the river the park and the fish ladder are all huddled together right there, but instead of being all congested, all of it is so cute and practical, I hadnt even noticed something as important as their City Hall because that's definitely NOT your 1st thought when u look at that specifically! That particular building surrounded by the things I just listed makes it all look and FEEL so warm and cozy and welcoming. I havent been inside, so I cant speak on the people working to keep the place running, but i have a feeling they're probly just as kind, friendly and pleasant as the random strangers we cross paths with up and down that street!
