I had too much trouble getting my child's birth certificate using the automated request form. It charges your credit card a convenience fee each time you try. Be advised that after you put in your credit card info, you have to fill out a series of identity questions. After I put in credit card, I thought i was done and missed the 2nd part and was denied. The next time I tried, I put in my social security last 4 digits and somehow it was incorrect. Ugg! And notice if you mail it in you have to send a certified check. When you are getting a birth certificate, it means you have a newborn in the house, all the more reason this should be SIMPLIFIED!

Horrible service here! Went in for marriage license, we were told that we needed to go home and make appt online as they were busy (we were the only people there) we made our appt. Get back to office and the woman helping us sat at her desk and shouted across the room to us for info. Then would hold up the papers with our info on it up to the window for anyone to see. So so cold and unfeelng.. It felt like I was putting them out for making them work! How dare I? Moore county office of deeds and the magistrate made my wedding day extremely cold and robotic. I was totally shocked. Shameful

Quick, simple, & very pleasant & professional. Walked in, was directed to the end of hall, all the ladies I encountered were very pleasant & polite, even for a Monday morning. The young lady assisting me with my daughter's birth certificate was very kind & helpful. Wasn't inside 5 mins & I had what I needed & was on my way. Stellar!
