The Orange County Health Department has done a phenomenal job with the Covid vaccine rollout. I received my vaccine Cedar Ridge High School at 7 am on New Year’s Eve. Such a tremendous and well-organized army of personnel. So grateful.

One of the best health care experiences I've ever had. Thank you to Faith Claman, especially. They are so kind + courteous + welcoming. I would definitely go back!

I remember before COVID, you could make appointments within the same week. Since COVID, everything has gone downhill—it feels like we're still stuck in those pandemic years. It's ridiculous that you now have to wait three months just to find out if appointments are available.

There's some good people who work here and at the Chapel Hill location, but considering that we have the highest taxes in the state, our health department sucks. The wait times for an appointment are unacceptably long. Think you might have a communicable disease and want a test? Website says same or next-day appointments - not anymore - expect a wait of at least a month. The Chapel Hill location was closed for a long time for renovations, but re-opening did nothing to alleviate the lack of staff. A patient shouldn't have to listen to a 5 minute long recording in multiple languages just to leave the nurse a voicemail. Doesn't really matter anyway because they won't be able to see you in a timely fashion once your call is returned.

Hello everyone, I had to take a few minutes out of my Day, just to say that I had the pleasure of being a patient at UNCH in Hillsborough N.C. I live about 3 hours away. I had 3 appointments today. My first appointment was with the Mammogram dept. I was checked in by Roxanne, very pleasant lady with excellent customer service skills. I then seen Erin, who was my Mammogram technician. OMG, Erin was so very nice, patient & has a excellent, personal and positive personality. I then went to my Bone Scan and was greeted by yet another professional, named Tamera, that was equally pleasant and had an awesome personality. These ladies were top notch. I felt so very comfortable with them both. My next awesome experience was a receptionist named Heather. She was equally very pleasant & professional at her job. My last appointment is with my Oncology provider. I have been seen by her a couple of times. She was always very pleasant, with a positive personality & attitude. Looking forward to my appointment, with her. I need to add, that when Erin seen that I was walking with a cane, she told me that she was going to get a wheelchair for me. I didn't ask for one, but was so very grateful that she offered to get a chair for me. Tamera pushed me to my next check in. I said all that to say Kudos & a job well to these beautiful ladies.God Bless them & keep up the excellent customer service that you all provide to patients. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️
