The lady that does wic and the nutrition or so helpful after dealing with so much frustration after moving and getting the run around for the longest from the previous county I was in. They were able to get everything situated really quick and very sweet.

WIC is extremely understaffed. A lady was rude, got an attitude, & slammed the office door because I wouldn’t give up my appointment time (while I was in the middle of my appointment) for someone else. I had 3 kids under 5 years old and had other things to do afterwards. Not my fault/problem. Absolutely chaos every appointment.

My brother, who is disabled, had an appointment at the health department yesterday. The nurse who helped him was absolutely wonderful — kind, patient, and very understanding. She deserves 5 stars for her professionalism and compassion. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the behavior of the billing lady. After I asked the nurse to give my brother an additional immunization, the billing lady became noticeably rude and dismissive, apparently frustrated that it added a few extra minutes of work. It was upsetting to be treated this way, especially when caring for someone with special needs. Everyone deserves respect and empathy, and I hope the department addresses this.
