Jury duty call only between 8-4 when people.are.working if they can invade your rights demanding jury duty they should.answer calls 24/7. With the amount of derelicts doing nothing all.day leave working people.alone who have no interest in jury duty.

Getting a marriage license couldn’t have been easier. It took all of 10 minutes and the staff was kind.

This is a horrible place! When I was younger jury duty was selected by pulling people in then selecting them, now-a-day's its an automatic summons with only paper work to fill out. This is an unfair advantage for the courts to just lock people away or release guilt parties. I will be summons the week of the 15th and I have horrible anxiety/depression/bipolar disorder which my doctor refused to write up. I will not be able to sit still in that court and pay attention as more than likely I will be panicking and in discomfort. Yet I am going to be still forced due to the lack of information on the mail that is given. Even when calling into the court to speak to someone the secretaries who answer the phones was rude, not polite, and ignorant. They acted as if we do this all the time and should know 100 percent how this works even though it has changed since the last time I have had to go in for it. God only knows how many more times it has changed since then too. God help those who end up in court with a system like this.

I want to recognize a wonderful man who works at the Washington County Circuit Court. Doug Lowry (I hope I spelled his name correctly) is always friendly, professional, and extremely helpful whenever I visit. Beyond his courtesy, he also has a wealth of knowledge about Hagerstown’s history, which makes conversations with him genuinely enjoyable. It’s rare to meet someone who blends such kindness with expertise — he truly represents the court and community well.
