While the staff are polite, and paperwork process itself is very fast and smooth- the office layout is set up poorly. You can only apply for a marriage license on-site in the first room, and then walk down the hall to another room to actually process the thing. Unless you call ahead to ask, you’ll find out after going to the basement that “they’re cash only right now”. They’ve been “Cash Only” for over a year or longer, so I don’t think upgrading is a priority. There’s also one ATM in the whole justice building, which was conveniently NOT mentioned to be out-of-service when I called to ask about getting certified copies. Make sure to bring cash with you.

Both Karen and Maria were courteous in helping me. I wish they had a queueing/numbering machine like at the Travis County Clerk's office (Airport Blvd) so they know clients are waiting for a service, and the clients know their turn too.

I spoke with someone named Lori (Not sure how she spells it..) about officiating my friend’s wedding. That was probably one of the best phone conversations I have experienced in my entire life. She was super friendly and helpful! Excellent times 100!
