Came in to get a blank form for Satisfaction of Security Instrument, NC GS 45-36.10; GS 45-37(a)(7). I have had zero issues getting this form in Catawba, Caldwell, and Iredell counties over the past few years. I explained to the lady in the window that I needed the blank form, and that I was more than happy to pay for the copy if necessary (most counties have them ready to hand out). The lady tells me "We don't do forms here." What does that even mean? You're a RoD office, pretty sure you should have some sort of forms available, especially one as common as this. I again explained to her what I was looking for, and she said they didn't 'have any forms there'. How do you conduct county business without, according to this woman, ANY forms? It made zero sense. Will just make the 30 minute drive to Newton instead of coming back here. 😑😑
